BEFORE WE BEGIN

The questions
that matter.

How long does a full branding process take?

It depends on scope, but a complete positioning, identity and brand manual process takes 6–10 weeks. A focused update to an established identity can take 3–4 weeks.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

The logo is one piece. The identity is the whole system: palette and usage rules, typography, tone of voice and defined applications. Without it, each person producing material ends up inventing their own rules.

Can you help if I already have a logo and do not want to change it?

Yes. Often the logo works and the missing elements are guidelines, an organized palette, defined typography and consistent applications. In those cases we build the system around the existing logo.

Do I need a brand manual, or are logo files enough?

If you work with multiple suppliers, you need a manual. It allows a photographer, community manager and printer to produce materials that look like one company without relying on someone's memory.

How do I know whether my brand needs a redesign or just clearer guidelines?

If you look different in every channel, you need consistency. If your image communicates something that no longer matches what you sell or who you serve, a redesign may be needed. We assess this before recommending either.
